Flag marches in Sargodha, Muzaffargarh for creating awareness on pandemic
SARGODHA: Law enforcing agencies conducted a flag march in Sargodha on Friday aimed at creating awareness for the prevention of spreading corona pandemic among locals of the area and to ensure enforcement of Section 144 in the wake of COVID-19.
The district police, Pakistan Army and Elite Force participated in the flag march.
Under the supervision of SDPO Ahmed Shah, the flag march was started from Zakaullah Shaheed Police Lines and culminated at the same place after passing through Azadi Chowk, Overhead Bridge, Khushab Road, Block No-16 Road, Phatta Mandi Chowk, Water Supply Road, Muslim Bazaar and Queen Chowk.
SDPO Ahmed Shah said that the main objective to hold the flag march was to completely implement Section 144 and to create awareness among the locals against pandemic of coronavirus.
He warned that nobody would be allowed to violate Section 144 and the violators would be punished as per the law.

District Police Officer (DPO) Nadeem Abbas led the flag march at Kot Addu tehsil.
Speaking on the occasion, he appealed to the masses to cooperate with the police to implement contingency plan devised under directions of the government and its auxiliary agencies.

Meanwhile, police also launched an awareness drive at far-flung and rural tehsils including Sanawan, Alipur, Daira Din Panah and Jatoi.
Nadeem Abbas asked the people from all walks of life to extend the heartiest cooperation to the law enforcing agencies to fulfill its humanitarian mission.
