Zalmi launches awareness campaign about coronavirus
LAHORE: Pakistan Super League franchise Peshawar Zalmi Thursday launched an awareness campaign about coronavirus.
Special messages regarding awareness about Corona Virus were given by Peshawar Zalmi Chairman Javed Afridi, Head Coach Darren Sammy, Captain Wahab Riaz, and players like Hassan Ali and Imam ul Haq
Peshawar Zalmi Chairman, Javed Afridi, recorded the message in Pashto and urged people to stay at home and wash their hands repeatedly.PSL’s Number 1 franchise, in terms of media and brand value, Peshawar Zalmi has launched a special campaign to take precautions against the Coronavirus. Video messages from Zalmi star cricketers were uploaded from all digital platforms. Head Coach Darren Sammy, Captain Wahab Riaz, Hassan Ali and Imam ul Haq urged people to avoid coronavirus and to prevent further outbreaks, everyone should stay at home. Keep contact with others minimum, refrain from shaking hands and wash hands repeatedly.
Javed Afridi, chairman of Peshawar Zalmi, issued a special Pashto video message and in an awareness campaign requested people to take precautionary measures. Javed Afridi also tweeted about taking precautions against coronavirus in Sindhi language.
Posts are also being posted daily in English, Urdu and Pashto languages for awareness campaign on social media handles of Peshawar Zalmi, Zalmi Foundation, and Zalmi Force platform.
