Police, Army, Rangers hold flag march in Mianwali

MIANWALI: Police, Pakistan Army and Rangers held a flag march to make people feel secure during the coronavirus epidemic in the city. DPO Hasan Asad Alvi along with Col Idrees of 315 Punjab Regiment participated in the flag march. The flag march was started from Police Lines and culminated at the same place after passing through different routes, including Belu Khel Road, Main Bazaar, Station Chowk, Government High School Road, Lorry Adda Kundian, Chashma Barrage, Piplan and Wan Bhachran. DPO Hassan Asad Alvi said that the main purpose of the flag march was to completely implement Section 144. He said that nobody would be allowed to violate Section 144 and warned that the violators would be punished as per the law.

DC visits Namal Lake: DC Omar Sher Chattha on Thursday directed the officers of Wildlife Department for colouring the limitations of Namal Lake. The deputy commissioner along with Assistant Commissioner Farhan Mujtaba, Deputy Director Wildlife M Anwar and XEN Building Ali Nawaz visited the Namal Lake and inspected different sites for the construction of a rest house near the lake. The DC directed the XEN building and officers of Wildlife for choosing attractive site for the construction of the rest house.
