Park Lane reference: Zardari, Faryal Talpur, others to be indicted on April 27

ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court to indict former president Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur and other accused in Park Lane reference on April 27. The court was supposed to indict PPP leader Asif Ali Zardari and his sister on March 25 but hearing was adjourned, as accountability court Judge Arshad Malik was on leave.
The court set April 27 as new date to indict Park Lane accused and issued notices to them. According to NAB, Asif Ali Zardari was allegedly running a fake front company by the name of Parathon as a shareholder in Park Lane properties. A loan worth Rs1.5 billion was taken from the bank and transferred to the company account in a private bank.
