ISLAMABAD: The Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) has postponed the Junior Asia Cup that was scheduled to be held in Dhaka (Bangladesh) from June 4.
Besides Pakistan and hosts Bangladesh, the event was to be participated by Malaysia, Korea, India, Japan, China, Chinese Taipei, Oman and Uzbekistan.
Junior Asia Cup was supposed to serve as a qualifying round for next year’s Junior World Cup scheduled to be held in India. The decision was taken in wake of the COVID-19 outbreak that has already crippled sports activities around the globe.
