Islamabad:Deliver it, an online delivery service provider, announced that it distributed more than 10,000 face masks and hand sanitisers with the help of the ICTA Volunteers Task Force in rural areas of Islamabad on 23rd March to help support the Islamabad Capital Territory administration fight coronavirus.
It has already given away 10,000 face masks and 1000 sanitisers to people in sectors G-9, G-10 and G-11 for personal use. According to Deliver IT, it offers free delivery of food and grocery items including fruits, vegetables, snacks, beverages, dry fruits, personal and household items on the doorstep of customers in Islamabad.
To avail themselves of the service, the residents should download 'Deliver It - Food & Grocery' app on Android or iOS before placing order(s). Meanwhile, the magistrate (Lohi Bher) along with a doctor, Shoaib Jamil, and police officials visited the PWD Market and carried out shop-to-shop awareness campaign regarding coronavirus. Moreover, surgical masks were found to be available at all medical stores in the area. However, warning was issued to one grocery store and one medical store for overcrowding.
