ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser has summoned the meeting of all the Parliamentary Leaders in the National Assembly and the Senate on Wednesday (March 25) to discuss and constitute a Parliamentary Committee on coronavirus and its impacts on economy.
All the Parliamentary Leaders in the National Assembly including Opposition Leader Shahbaz Sharif, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Opposition Leader in the Senate Raja Zafarul Haq and from the government the notice of meeting has been sent to Minister for Defense Pervaiz Khattak, Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umer, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Senator Azam Swati, Adviser to PM on Finance and Economic Affairs Dr
Abdul Hafeez Sheikh and Special Assistant to PM on Health besides the parliamentary leaders of government allied parties in National Assembly and Senate.
Prior of convening the meeting of Parliamentary Leaders of the National Assembly and Senate, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser has made the telephonic contacts with the parliamentary leaders of opposition parties of National Assembly and Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani to discuss formation of parliamentary committee on coronavirus.
