LAHORE: Beaconhouse is launching the Beaconhouse Film Festival, a nationwide short film competition that will showcase the work of young, talented filmmakers between the ages of 12 to 18 years from across Pakistan. Open to all who wish to participate, the short film competition will offer the next generation of talented filmmakers a grand stage to screen their extraordinary creations, share their vision and interact with others who share their passion.
Planning, scriptwriting, shooting, editing and reviewing will be part of the final product and entries will be judged on these criteria. The submitted short films will be judged by renowned filmmakers and media personalities. The winning films will be screened at the highly publicised Beaconhouse School of Tomorrow festivals in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad this November.
