LAHORE: Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar on Friday visited residence of martyred Lt Agha Muqaddas Ali Khan and offered condolence to the bereaved family.
The Punjab governor Chaudhry reached the house of martyred Lt Agha Muqaddas Ali Khan in the Shadbagh area and offered condolences to Agha Arshad, father of the martyr, and other family members and offered Fateha. He paid rich homage to the martyred officer for rendering supreme sacrifice while fighting against terrorists for restoration of peace.
He said 220 million people of Pakistan were standing by Pakistan Army and the nation salutes to those rendering sacrifices in defence of the motherland. Meanwhile, the residents of Shadbagh demanded the Punjab governor name Gol Ground Shadbagh after Lt Agha Muqaddas Shaheed, to which, the governor assured the martyr’s family that all possible measures would be taken in this regard.
