Kite runner dies after being hit by train

Rawalpindi: A six-year-old boy was killed after being hit by a train in front of old union council building, Chaklala, near Airport Road in the limits of Airport Police Station here on Friday.
Reportedly, Samiullah, was running behind a stray kite along the railway track when he was hit by a train from behind.
The boy succumbed to his neck injury and died on the spot.
As per Rescue 1122 official, the kite runner boy received fatal neck fracture after being hit by the train and died at the spot.
It is worth mentioning here that there is no fence and barbed wire along railway track passing through Chaklala adjacent to Airport Road and similar incident had also been reported in the past.
