Dirty money

March 20, 2020

In our daily lives, we deal with paper money transactions as a routine without realising that these currency notes are the best source of infection and carry all sorts of bacteria and viruses as they pass through many hands. Similarly, persons working in banks handle a number of cheques everyday.

It is suggested that people should carry paper money in polythene bags and not in pockets or valets and every time they use the money they should, preferably, wash hands or use sanitizers or alcohol pads to keep their hands clear of any bacteria. People working in banks should also follow the same practice. While using sanitizers, one should make sure that the product is from some reliable source and contains minimum 60 percent alcohol.
