Islamabad: As part of plans to prevent coronavirus, the authorities have closed Murree hill station for tourists for two weeks with an immediate effect.
The development comes ahead of weekend when the area is likely to attract large crowds of tourists as usual.
The authorities asked visitors not to plan Murree tour for a fortnight. They said in the wake of coronavirus emergency, all hotels, motels, restaurants, rest houses and tourist spots in Murree had been closed until further orders in public interest.
