Asian Squash Team C’ship, Junior Individual event postponed

KARACHI: Asian Squash Team Championships and Asian Junior Individual Championships have been postponed.
The team championship was scheduled in Malaysia from March 25-29 and the individual event was to be held in Qingdao, China, in June. Pakistan’s team and players were due to participate in these championships. Pakistan clinched silver medal at Asian Team Championships in 2018.
Pakistan’s Anas Ali won silver medal in under-13 category while Hamza Khan, Haris Qasim, and Abbas Zeb won gold medals in under-15, 17, and 19 categories, respectively, in Asian Junior Individual Championships in 2018.
Earlier, Qatar Junior Open and Doha Junior Open scheduled from March 11-17 also got postponed.
