ETPB land scam

Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) chairman has decided to hold proceedings of alleged illegal transfer of around 1,000 acres of land to a man in Depalpur on daily basis.
According to a press release issued here Thursday, the proceedings of the case would resume on Friday (today). Additional Legal Adviser, ETPB, Nasir Ahmed Awan told the media after the Thursday’s proceedings that keeping in view the importance of the case, which involved senior revenue officers besides DCO, additional commissioner, additional collector, naib Tehsildars, etc of the district concerned, who allegedly fraudulently transferred the trust’s land to a private person, the chairman decided to hold the proceedings of the case on daily basis. —Correspondent
