Volunteers asked to participate in coronavirus awareness drive

Rawalpindi: Additional Deputy Commissioner (Headquarters) Rawalpindi Dr. Sataish has asked volunteers to actively participate in corona virus campaign and play their due role to combat this fatal disease.

Talking to the representatives of various social welfare organizations and women entrepreneurs in her office today, Dr. Sataish said that keeping in view emergent situation about corona red alert, a comprehensive plan is prepared for Rawalpindi with close coordination of health and other departments and officers of district administration visiting different localities especially markets and medical stores to monitor the sale of masks, sanitizers, gloves, etc. on fixed rates.

She elaborated that day to day activities of all concerns is being monitored with regard to prevention of corona virus. She said that district government under the patronage of DC Rawalpindi Capt. ® Muhammad Anwaar ul Haq is committed to ensure all possible measures in implementation of corona prevention guidelines issued by the Punjab Government in letter and spirit. She said that tasks have been assigned to the officers of district administration for strict vigilance about corona prevention. She said that public awareness is imperative to sensitize people to act upon the health advisory for the protection of their lives.
