Four bodies were found in different parts of the city on Tuesday.
A 30-year-old man was found dead in the limits of Data Darbar police station and another man was recovered dead from the Lower Mall police area. Police claimed that both the men, yet to be identified, were addicts, who might have died of excessive use of drugs. Police shifted the bodies to morgue.
A 50-year-old man was recovered dead from the limits of Sanda police station on Tuesday.
He was identified as Mukhtar. Police suspected that the man might have died of cardiac seizure. Police shifted the body to morgue.
An old woman was found dead in the limits of Ghalib Market police station on Tuesday.
Some passersby spotted the body of an old woman lying on the road and informed the police. The woman, yet to be identified, might have died of natural causes. Body was removed to mortuary.
accidents: Total 635 road traffic accidents were reported in Rescue 1122’s Provincial Monitoring Cell in all districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours; in which four lives were lost and 480 serious injured were shifted to different hospitals of relevant district. However, some 222 victims sustaining minor injuries were provided first aid on the spot.
