PTI warns officials against running
campaign for PML-N candidates

CHAKWAL: PTI leader Pir Shaukat Hussain has asked the district administration officers to refrain from campaigning for the PML-N candidates during the Local Government polls.
Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, the PTI leader said that the DCO, who is also district returning officer (DRO), and the DPO should perform duty within their official limits. If the officers give favour to the PML-N candidates during the polls, a sit-in would be staged in front of the office of the Chakwal district returning officer and the DPO, he warned. He blamed that the EDO Education also harassed PTI candidate Malik Idrees who was contesting against the father of Punjab Minister Malik Tanveer Aslam. He claimed that the EDO raided the school of Malik Idrees at Makhial village and allegedly harassed him. Pir Shaukat alleged that the DPO had provided five official vehicles to the provincial minister and he was campaigning for the PML-N candidates.
SHOP BURGLED: A shop was burgled at Jand Khanzada village on Saturday night.
Some unidentified thieves broke into the shop of Nasir and stole Rs 300,000.
