Hotel owners asked to install CCTV cameras in kitchens

GUJRANWALA: Assistant Commissioner Sadr Arifullah Awan Friday asked hotel authorities to arrange CCTV cameras in their kitchens and LCDs in halls and dining rooms so that customers may watch food preparation process.
The AC ordered this during his surprise visits to Mughal Mehal, Shahbaz Tikka, Marian Hotel and other restaurants.
He directed that the management of hotels should get medical fitness certificates of their workers especially for those who work in kitchens. He also ordered construction of model ‘Tandoors’ according to the parameters directed by the government.
