KARACHI: Asma Asif defeated Hibba Walid by 2-1 in the summit clash to clinch the title of All-Karachi Defence Day Women Badminton Tournament here at Pakistan Sports Board coaching centre. Asma won the first set 21-18, but Hibba bounced back and won the second set 21-17. Asma won the decisive set 21-19.
In doubles final, Syeda Ammara and Hibba Walid defeated Yusra Waheed and Sofia Mughal 21-17, 19-21, 21-19.
Around 45 players from schools, colleges and universities participated in the event, which was organised by Sky Fighter’s Sports Club with the support of Sindh Badminton Association (SBA).
