Japanese envoy views exhibition at Alhamra
LAHORE:Japanese embassy Consular Ryuji IWASAKI on Wednesday visited Lahore Arts Council. During the visit, the Japanese Consular met with Executive Director Alhamra Athar Ali Khan, who welcomed the Japanese Consular and discusses various cultural issues. Ryuji took a keen interest in various sections of the Alhamra Art Centre.
On the occasion, the Japanese Consular visited “Artist Association Exhibition” at Alhamra Art Gallery and praised the artworks of Pakistani artists. Ryuji IWASAKI said: “The diplomatic relations between Japan and Pakistan span over many years and I believe that both the countries are trying their best to increase this bilateral relationship.”
During the visit, Ryuji IWASAKI appreciated the hard work of the Alhamra Arts Council for the promotion of art and culture and said Alhamra is strengthening its literary-cultural relationship with the entire world which is truly remarkable.
Executive Director Alhamra Arts Council Ather Ali Khan said Lahore Arts Council has been engaging in diplomatic community through arranging and collaborating with different cultural events to showcase the cultural diversity of different countries in Pakistan on a broader level.
