ISLAMABAD/SIALKOT: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan called Opposition parties, the blood suckers of masses, alleging they were protesting for their political gains and not for public.
In a volley of tweets, she said the masses’ blood suckers were looking for kafeel in the incumbent government while the supremo of the mafia was in London and Khawaja Asif should contact him there.
“The protest by Opposition parties in front of the Parliament House is nothing more than cry over their political deprivations. They are suffering from pain their belly due to corruption deprivation from power, having no sympathy whatsoever for people,” she went on to allege.
She contended that these protesting people were the criminals, who had plunged the country into poverty, debt and high inflation. She added they had concern for their corruption and rule and have no sympathies with people.
“They are such public representatives who mortgaged even Pakistan’s airports to the world bodies. It is the protest by those, who are enjoying today even at the cost of masses and snatched from them their future,” she alleged.
Addressing PPP leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, she charged that he was agitating over the
corruption the cost of which was being paid by the nation after his father and auntie looted the public money and were unwilling to return it. She urged Bilawal to ask his father and auntie to return public money.
Meanwhile, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Wednesday said the government was utilising all available resources to address the problems of business community on priority basis.
Addressing the exporters and manufactures at Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), she said the
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government was making efforts to keep the production wheel in full motion and generate maximum employment opportunities for skilled and semi-skilled youth. "We understand that industrial sector can play an instrumental role in alleviating poverty from the country", she said.
Dr Firdous said the government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan was making strenuous efforts for maintaining peace, prosperity and industrial development in the region.
The SAPM said exporters of Sialkot were roaming ambassador of Pakistan and it was their national obligation that they should project the soft image of Pakistan abroad.
