DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Reham Khan, spouse of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan paid a visit to the Wildlife Park here on Monday. District Nazim Azizullah Alizai, Deputy Commissioner Nisar Ahmed Khan, Divisional Forest Officer (Wildlife) Dera Ismail Khan Abdul Halim Marwat and DFO Bannu Khan Malook and other officials received her at the park. More than 100 street children also gathered there.
Speaking on the occasion, she said that the street children were forced to work as child labour as their parents were either poor or dead. She argued that the government was responsible for taking care of these children and they should be enrolled at the schools instead of working in shops and hotels. DFO Abdul Halim Marwat said that the park should be extended with a vast space to accommodate more animals.
