Farhan eases into second round

KARACHI: Farhan Altaf overpowered Sufiyan Shiwani 6-0, 6-0 to secure his place in the second round of men’s singles in the 3rd Indus Pharma Open National Ranking Tennis Championship at Karachi Club here on Monday.
Meanwhile, Saad Iqbal found easier entry in the second round than Farhan as he got a walkover against Zuhair Raza in the first round. Vinod Das also made it to the second round as he beat Nazif Ahmed 6-0, 6-2.
