LAHORE: Pakistani Professor Dr Sh Saleem Manki has won the global award from as many as 4,670 participants from all over the world for Best Traffic Safety Innovation.
Kingdome of Saudi Arabia Minister of Education Dr Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sheikh presented the award to Dr Sh Saleem Manki in a prestigious ceremony in Saudi Arabia.
His innovation is being acknowledged and appreciated throughout the world as it has brought about a revolution in the traffic system which would bring down the number of road accidents and save the precious human lives.
It would not be wrong to say that the system might be enforced in various part of the world and credit would definitely go to Dr Sh Saleem Manki.
Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry Executive Committee member Fiaz Haider and various others have congratulated Dr Sh Saleem Manki for hoisting the national flag at the global level and for making it clear that Pakistan had no dearth of the talented people.
Saleem Manki is youngest professor with a PhD from Yokohama University in structural engineering and dam technology.
