Four of a family killed in accident

HAFIZABAD: Four members of a family were killed while 10 others sustained injuries in an accident near Sukheke on Saturday.

Reportedly, a vain was carrying passengers to Bhalwal from Lahore when a speeding truck hit the vehicle. As a result, Khushi Muhammad, Aqib, Asma and Aqsa Jan were killed on the spot while 10 others sustained injuries. The injured were taken to the THQ Hospital Pindi Bhattian.

TWO SHOT DEAD OVER ENMITY: Two persons were killed by their rivals near Sogeen Kharral village on Saturday.

Hassan Ali and Adeel had an enmity with Ahmad etc over some issue. On the day of the incident, Hassan Ali and Adeel were on their way homes when four accused, including Ahmad and Abu Sufiyan, allegedly shot them dead. Jalalpur Bhattian police have registered a case.

CASH, VALUABLES SNATCHED: Two dacoity incidents were reported here on Saturday.

Rab Nawaz of Mohallah Sharifpura was returning home from Bhirri Shah Rehman village when three armed bandits intercepted him and snatched cash and a bike from him. Bilal Ahmad of Madhora Kalan was on his way to Mutteke when two armed dacoits snatched his bike and a cell phone.
