Man shot dead in Haripur

HARIPUR: A man was killed and his three brothers sustained bullet injuries when two groups clashed in urban limits of T&T Colony here, police said on Saturday.
Assistant Sub-Inspector Tariq Saleem, In-charge TIP Chowki, said that Jamshed and Abu Bakar had an altercation a couple of days back over unknown reason. On Friday night, both sides came across and again exchanged harsh words over parking of motorcycle which ensued a scuffle. According to police, Abu Bakar, Zakri Zaman and Liaqat allegedly opened fir which resulted in injuries to Jamshed, his brothers Amir and Bilal. Area people shifted the injured to Trauma Centre where Jamshed succumbed to his injuries.
