450kg unhygienic meat seized

On the directives of DCO, a team of Livestock Department and City District Government Lahore (CDGL) raided four areas and confiscated unhygienic meat on Monday.
The CDGL officials said the team recovered 450-kg unhygienic meat and discarded it. They said the team under the supervision of Dr Rahat Ali DDO (Livestock) raided Neli Baar Chowk, Malik Park, Amin Park and Chauburji Chowk where four people were taking unhygienic meat to somewhere. The team recovered 450 kg unhygienic meat and lodged an FIR them. DCO Muhammad Usman directed all towns’ officials of CDGL to check sale and purchase of unhygienic meat.
