Boy commits suicide in Haripur

HARIPUR: Ateenage boy committed suicide over unknown reasons, police officials said on Tuesday. Officials of the Khalabat Township Police Station said that Obaid Mehmood, 19, of Qaziyan village went to his bedroom on Monday evening but during midnight the family rushed to his room after hearing the sound of a gunshot.

When they broke into Obaid’s room, they found him lying in a pool of blood. The family shifted the boy to Haripur Trauma Centre where the doctors pronounced him dead. The family members said that he shot himself dead with 30 bore pistol but the reasons behind the incident were unknown.
