Three terrorists arrested in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: The Counter-Terrorism Department has arrested three alleged terrorists in separate operations, officials said on Tuesday.
An official said the CTD during an action arrested Akbar of Sulemankhel who was wanted to police for planting explosives to target security forces in Sarband. The explosives were later defused by the bomb disposal unit. In another action, the CTD arrested Alamzeb of Mardan from Naguman area in Peshawar. The held man was wanted to police for kidnapping two persons for ransom and demanding Rs15 million. He carried Rs500,000 head money.
The CTD arrested as well Mamrez from the Pabbi town in Nowshera district who was wanted to police for killing a police official. His head money was Rs 2 million.
