A Kashmir solidarity rally was held here outside Lahore Press Club on Tuesday.Children, women, religious and social leaders attended the rally organised by Al Mustafa Welfare Trust. The participants were carrying flags and banners of Azad Kashmir. They raised slogans against Indian occupation forces and called for global leaders to end cruel acts of Indian army in the Indian-held Kashmir (IHK).
Organisation’s chairman Abdur Razaq Sajid through a telephone call said India has imposed a long curfew on innocent people of the IHK.Nawaz Kharal, Shahid Gardezi, Mufti Qaiser Shahzad Naeemi and others also condemned Indian lockdown in Indian-held Kashmir and urged the global powers to force India to end its oppressive occupation of the IHK.
They said people, especially children, elderly and women, are in worse condition in the IHK.
The participants kept on raising slogans against Indian government in rain.Meanwhile, Robina Ilmas Organisation’s chairperson Shazia Ilyas Kiran Kamran addressing another Kashmir solidarity rally said the United Nations despite its resolutions on Indian-held Kashmir (IHK) was not successful in forcing India to give Kashmiris the right of self determination. She said we as a united nation can force Indian government to listen to the demands of the IHK people. Shazia said our unity can become a base for the liberation of IHK.
