Shake-up in Sindh cabinet

KARACHI: The Sindh Cabinet on Monday underwent reshuffle and Syed Nasir Hussain Shah was once again assigned the responsibilities as Sindh Information minister.

Saeed Ghani who was earlier assigned i.e. Information has now been given the new responsibility as Sindh Education and Literacy minister. Besides, Saeed Ghani will continue to look after the Labour Department.

Nasir Hussain Shah besides being the new Sindh Information Minister will continue to have the additional portfolios of the Local Government, Housing and Town Planning; Forest and Religious Affairs. Nasir Hussain Shah had served as information minister in the previous PPP regime.

Jam Ikramullah Dharejo who is Sindh Minister for Industries, Commerce and Cooperation has been given Sindh Enquiries and Anti-Corruption Establishment. Earlier, this portfolio was with Sohail Anwar Siyal who will continue to act as the minister for Irrigation, Zakat, Ushr, and Auqaf Department. The Sindh Chief Secretary Mumtaz Ali Shah issued the notification for the cabinet reshuffle on Monday night.
