Dacoit involved in 40 cases killed in encounter

OKARA: A dacoit involved in 40 heinouscases was killed duringan encounter here on Friday. Reportedly, the B-Division police tried to stop a motorcycle 4L Bridge but the motorcyclists tried to flee.

To it, the police chased the bikers. On seeing the police, the accused opened fire at the police, which was retaliated. Later, the police found the dead body of aman who was later identified as dacoit Imtiaz alias Kali.

The killed criminal was also involved in a robbery-cum-murder case at Sultan Town a few days ago. However, the other biker fled. Five judges transferred: Lahore High Court Chief Justice Mamoonur Rashid has transferred five additional sessions judges of Okara district.

Additional Sessions Judge Ms Rahila Umar was transferred to Jhang from Okara, ASJ Nadeem Anjum was transferred to Layyah, AD&SJ Muhammad Mushtaq was transferred to Lahore, AD&SJ Noman Naeem was transferred to Arifwala, AD&SJ Muzammil Musa was transferred to Lahore, AD&SJ Ijaz Ahmad was transferred to Tandlianwala, AD&SJ Rana Sohail and AD&SJ Ms Farhat Jabeen Rana were transferred to Kabirwala. Similarly, AD&SJ Muhammad Tariq Ayub was transferred to Okara and AD&SJ Shahbaz Ahmad Khagga was transferred to Okara from Rahimyar Khan.
