NAWABSHAH: The district administration has launched a massive drive against illegal encroachment in the thickly-populated areas of Manuabad and used heavy machinery for demolition of illegal structures. A large number ofarea shopkeepers and citizens gathered at the operation site and locked all shops. Shopkeepers also argued with the police and officials that ended in a minor brawl. A heavy contingent of police was present in the area to control the situation.
