KARACHI: As many as 169 foreign boys and girls have sent entries for two international junior tennis events to be held in Islamabad from February 17-29.
The first event is to be played from February 17-22 in which 41 foreign players have got place in the main draw. There are 43 foreign players in the qualifying round of the event. There are only three Pakistani players in the main draw and nine players are in the qualifying round.
Besides, 41 foreign players are in the main draw of the second event that is to be played from February 24-29. There are 44 foreign players in the qualifying round. There are three Pakistani players in the main draw and eight in the qualifying draw. Pakistan’s top junior player Huzaifa Abdur Rehman is top seed in both the events.
