KOHAT: Ten assistant sub-inspectors were promoted to the rank of sub-inspector here on Wednesday.
A function to this effect was held with Regional Police Officer Tayyab Hafeez Cheema in the chair and attended by the District Police Officer Mansoor Aman and other police officials.
The promotion was made on annual performance report and service record of the cops awaiting promotion and 10 assistant sub inspectors meeting the criteria of merit and departmental promotion had been promoted to the rank of sub-inspectors.
The promoted cops include Sabir Ali, Fazal Mahmood, Abdul Waheed, Nadeem Khan, Farmanullah, Jawad Hussain, Taj Ali, Mohammad Iqbal, Mukammal Khan and Sub Inspector Qayyum Jan.
The RPO stressed the promoted cops to fulfill their new professional responsibilities in a better way.
