Puppet show highlights Kashmir cause
Islamabad : A special puppet show was arranged by the Pakistan National Council of the Arts on its premises to show solidarity with Kashmiri people making a struggle for the right to self-determination in the Indian-held Kashmir.
The thematic show was meant to highlight the issue and educate the children and youth about the longstanding Kashmir issue, especially human rights violation by the Indian occupation forces.
The participants appreciated the peformances and said Pakistani nation would continue offering moral support to Kashmiri brothers in their fight for freedom and continue to highlight the issue on all forums to convince the international community to play its role in bringing peace to the region. The event was attended by large number of students.
