Pak naval chief arrives in Sri Lanka

COLOMBO: Chief of the Naval Staff of the Pakistan Navy Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport for a five-day official visit to Sri Lanka.
The Chief of the Naval Staff of the Pakistan Navy is visiting Sri Lanka on the invitation of Sri Lanka Navy commander Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva from January 25-29, 2020, reported foreign media.
During his stay in the country, Admiral Mahmood is expected to meet with Commander of the Navy, Commanders of the Army and Air Force as well as the Secretary to the Ministry of Defence. Further, the Pakistan Navy Chief is scheduled to take part in several other events before concluding his formal Sri Lankan tour on 29th of this month.
