MULTAN: The BZU academic staff on Thursday observed complete strike against the BZU Employees Union office-bearers for allegedly attacking senior Faculty member Dr Ishaq Fani.
The BZU academic staff criticised Alpha police for its alleged failure to apprehend the accused nominated in the FIR. Meanwhile, BZU Vice-Chancellor Dr Khawaja Alqama ordered an inquiry and constituted a five-member committee. The BZU vice-Chancellor would head the committee while Dr Hakomat Ali, Dr Farid Saeed and two others will be its members. The committee held its meeting on Thursday and tried for reconciliation, the BZU officials said.
