KP IGP visits police stations, checkposts in Kohat
KOHAT: KP Inspector General of Police (IGP) Nasir Khan Durrani on Thursday visited various areas in the district and inspected the newly established border checkposts in Kaghazai. He was briefed about installation of modern IT policing tools, including vehicle verification, identity verification and criminal record verification systems at these checkposts.

KOHAT: KP Inspector General of Police (IGP) Nasir Khan Durrani on Thursday visited various areas in the district and inspected the newly established border checkposts in Kaghazai. He was briefed about installation of modern IT policing tools, including vehicle verification, identity verification and criminal record verification systems at these checkposts. The IGP also visited Government High School No-III in Kohat. He paid rich tributes to the police, citizens and armed forces for their role in the fight against the menace of militancy. The IGP distributed prizes amongst the top performing students of the school. He directed the SHOs and Muharrirs to respect citizens at the police stations. The IGP directed the SHOs that they must adhere to the recently issued guidelines pertaining to planning, tasking, monitoring and evaluation in the working of police stations. He also met with the locals and representatives of traders in Kohat city.
