ISLAMABAD: Parliamentary leader of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in the Senate Sherry Rehman Thursday said the report of the Transparency International is a charge sheet against the government. “We were saying since long that the corruption has increased in the country in the tenure of the present government,” she said while commenting on the report of the Transparency International.
Sherry Rehman said the prime minister was accusing the previous governments for corruption while the international organisations exposed the PTI government. She said the present government was making tall claims of eradicating corruption from the country but now it was proved that the corruption has increased further.
“All the claims of the government for reducing corruption proved fake,” she said. Sherry Rehman said corruption scam of BRT Peshawar, Malam Jabba and other scams still have to be investigated. “This government will not able to eradicate the corruption but will make records in the corruption,” she said.
