This letter refers to the Pakistani PM’s speech at the World Economic Forum 2020, in Davos. The PM’s determination that we will not become part of any other conflict is encouraging. His address also highlights the realization that Pakistan cannot grow its economy without peace and stability. In this context, normalizing relations with India would increase the potential for national economic growth.
There is no ‘point of no return’ in international relations. Both the states need to understand that the only loser in the conflict between them is their respective peoples.
