ISLAMABAD: Aqeel Khan had it easy against youngster Huzaifa Abdul Rehman during his straight set win in opening round of the Serena Hotels National Ranking Tennis Championships that turned into full flow on the sunny day at the PTF Complex, Wednesday
Huzaifa failed to live up to his reputation as he lost to Pakistan No 1 tamely 1-6, 1-6. A total number of 52 matches were played on the third day following complete wash out on Tuesday. A good number of spectators visited the venue to watch country’s top players in action. Waqas Malik got better of Ahmed Baber 6-7 (4), 7-6 (2), 6-2 in an exciting match of the day that went down to wire.
