Thalassemia centre inaugurated Masses rejected negative politics of Imran: Kirmani From Our Correspondent CHAKWAL: Adviser to Prime Minster Dr Asif Kirmani Wednesday said the masses had rejected negative politics of PTI leader Imran Khan. Talking to reporters after inaugurating Thalassemia centre established by Pakistan Bait ul Mal, Kirmani said by-elections of October 11th would be won by the PML-N with a big margin. He said previous by-elections results showed that the Sharif brothers enjoyed support of the people of Punjab. Pakistan Bait ul Mal MB Barrister Abid Waheed was also present. When asked when Asif Ali Zardari would go to the PM House for dinner, Kirmani said Asif’s visit was yet to be finalized. He said political leadership and military establishment was on the same page and this collaboration would lead the country into prosperity and peace. Kirmani said the economic corridor project would be a game changer and economic revolution would develop not only in Pakistan but the economic position in the whole region would improve. To another question, the adviser said the Punjab government was ready to hold local bodies’ election and election commission also announced the schedule in this regard. The advisor said fool proof security arrangements and peaceful atmosphere would be provided for the LB polls. He ruled out any possibility of postponement of the LB polls. Earlier, Kirmani inaugurated the Thalassemia centre at the DHQ hospital Chakwal and MS Dr Ahsan Naveed said 15 patients of Thalassemia were registered and medical treatment, medicines and blood transfusion would be provided by the PBM. MD Waheed said the centre was established with the cooperation of philanthropists of the area. MNA Baigum Iffat Liaqat, DPO Dr Moeen Masood, President Chakwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry Qazi Muhammad Akbar and others were present.
