KARACHI: A total of eight boys and six girls teams are featuring in two under-14 inter-school leagues here at Haque Academy School Ground.
Leisure Leagues is organising these six-a-side football leagues in collaboration with Haq Academy with an aim to promote healthy activities. In the girls’ league, Bay View School defeated DCTO 4-2. Zoya Zeshan, Imsha Khurram, Ammara and Maharukh scored one goal each. Zareena and Ammara scored one each for DCTO.
Meanwhile, hosts Haque Academy defeated Links School 1-0. Zara scored the only goal of the match. In boys’ league matches, DCTO thrashed Lecole 6-0. Bilal and Moiz braced for the winners.
Abdul Rehman scored a brilliant hat-trick to help Haque Academy record a 4-1 victory against Hampton. In another game, Abdul Rehman fired five goals to help Haque Academy crush Delsol 10-1.
The City PAF overpowered Bay View 4-0. Abdur Rehman Habib scored a hat-trick for the winning team. Talha scored four goals to help Hira Foundation beat Delsol 5-3. Rafay braced to help Alpha Core trounce World Academy 3-0.
