‘No flour shortage in Gujranwala division’
GUJRANWALA: Food Department Deputy Director Muhammad Saqib has said that there is no shortage of flour in the Gujranwala division.
Talking here on Monday, he said that about 65 truck points in the division were providing 22,000 flour bags of 20kg on daily basis, besides 116 fair price shops had also been set up at the gates of flour mills across the division from where citizens could get flour at the rate of Rs 783 per 20kg bag. He said that all flour mills owners had been directed to set up flour sale points. He warned that those found involved in artificial shortage of flour or profiteering would be dealt with iron hands.
