Over Rs 2.5m cheques distributed among children of 17 martyred cops
LAHORE: Children of 17 martyrs of Lahore police have been paid Rs 25 lac 75 thousand for education expenses.
CCPO distributed cheques among widows and children of the martyred. Shaheed head constable Shabbir Ahmed's widow handed over cheque of amount Rs 5 lac 36 thousand, widow of Shaheed sub-inspector Tajamal Hussain received cheque of Rs 4 lac 80 thousand. Similarly, widow of Shaheed Nazir Ahmed got an amount of Rs 3 lac 43 thousand for educational expenditure for their children. CCPO also handed over cheque of amount Rs 2 Lac 33 thousand to the widow of Shaheed constable Shoukat Ali. Likewise, widow of Shaheed Constable Ghulam Murtaza received amount of Rs 2 lac 12 thousand. The widow of Shaheed T / SI Dildar Ashraf got Rs 84 thousand 500, ASI Raftaj Hussain's widow received Rs 83 thousand, widow of constable Haq Nawaz was paid Rs 69 thousand, ASI Gilfam Shehzad Shaheed's widow handed over cheque of amount Rs 66 thousand, Constable Zafar Iqbal's widow 15 thousand, Constable Mohammad Asif's widow 13 thousand, widow of Constable Muhammad Imtiaz received amount of Rs 11 thousand while widow of Shaheed Sub-Inspector Manzoor Ahmed was paid Rs 7 thousand 875 for educational expenditure.
