‘Check artificial shortage of flour’

LAHORE:Punjab Chief Secretary Azam Suleman Khan has directed all the commissioners and deputy commissioners to keep close coordination with the departments of food and industries to check the artificial shortage of flour and ensure its sale at the price fixed by the government.

The chief secretary (CS) issued these directions to the officers while addressing a meeting of all commissioners and deputy commissioners through video link here on Sunday. The meeting here was attended by administrative secretaries of different departments, including food, industries and agriculture, director food and Lahore deputy commissioner. He asked the administrative officers to go to the field to check demand and supply of flour.
