RAWALPINDI: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has directed that effective measures should be taken for controlling dengue and the plan evolved for this purpose should be implemented at any cost.
He said that special attention should be paid to the dengue affected areas especially Rawalpindi.
He said that all concerned departments and administrations should perform their duties efficiently for controlling dengue and best treatment facilities be provided to the affected persons.
The chief minister directed the Cabinet Committee on anti-dengue to visit Rawalpindi to review the situation and take immediate steps to curb this menace.
