SUKKUR: The wife of senior PPP leader, former home minister Sindh Manzoor Hussain Wasan, was injured in a road accident on Thursday. Police sources said that PPP MPA Munawar Hussain Wasan and Zila Chairman Khairpur, Shahryar Khan, along with their family members and mother-in-law were on way to Khairpur for attending the funeral rites of the mother of Nawab Khan Wasan, Adviser to CM on Benazir Housing Scheme.
Their vehicle, after hitting a motorcycle at Kot Lalo National Highway, rammed into a tree in which the wife of Manzoor Hussain Wasan was injured and shifted to Khairpur Hospital's orthopedic unit where doctors suspected fracture in her arm.
