Gulfam wins silver medal at Kuwait Grand Prix

KARACHI: Pakistan’s Gulfam Joseph clinched silver medal in 10-metre Air Pistol category at 9th International Shooting Grand Prix in Kuwait on Thursday.
“He scored 574 points to qualify for the finals where he claimed silver medal by scoring 238.8 points,” said Secretary National Rifle Association of Pakistan (NRAP) Razi Ahmed while talking to ‘The News’.
He added that Army’s Joseph was the only shooter from Pakistan in this event in which athletes from Czech Republic, Serbia, Kazakhstan, Italy, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait took part.
It is pertinent to mention here that Gulfam Joseph has already won quota place in this category for Tokyo Olympics 2020.
